A beautiful lantern
This lantern is with the original glass smoke cowl.
The hanging system consists of a pulley and a lead counterweight in the shape of a pigeon gilded with gold leaf.
In the bottom of the lamp there is a separate candle holder with a spring system so that the candle can be replaced.
The height of the lamp is adjustable by the use of the pulley and the counterweight.
This beautiful lantern comes from the hall of the historic building at Lange Voorhout 88 in The Hague.
