Corpus Christi, made of ivory,
Signed W. Pompe, fecit, 1755
Walter Pompe was born in Lith in 1703, died in Antwerp in 1777.
He is known for his Christ statues on the cross in ivory and palm wood.
A few pulpits by Walter Pompe are also known, in Ravenstein and Hoboken.
