Signed: Chapuis, is Jean-Joseph Chapuis, lived from 1765 to 1864.

Completely reupholstered with fabric, made in Paris with the original motifs.

 

Jean-Joseph Chapuis was an important cabinetmaker in his day.

Working in Brussels all his life. After his marriage, his studio was located at 32 Rue de Loxem.

Chapuis delivered high-quality furniture.

 

His work can also be found in several museums in Europe.
