A Dutch burr walnut chest of drawers with 'bakwaaier'

The drawer front is vertical, so-called "organ shaped". This curvature is reminiscent of a church organ.

The bottom drawer has an accolade-shaped molding, a kind of plume motif. This is called a bakwaaier.

Dutch, circa 1740.
