A Dutch burr walnut longcase clock

Adriaan Baghijn worked in Amsterdam in the period 1710 - 1750.
 
His workshop was located on the Haarlemmerdijk.
 
In his time he was a famous clock maker.
 
This timepiece is special because it has a running time of one month.
 
The luxury case is made of burr walnut and with satinwooden inlaids.
 
The chapter ring is silvered and has windows for the phases of the moon, day and date.
 
The bronze work and the engraving are of fine quality.
 
The clock is in original condition and has a nice old patina.
