A set of large Chinese plates
Each is decorated with a colourful little cockerel perched on a weathered rock amidst large peonies and sacred mushrooms.
The rim is decorated with cartouches featuring flowers against a trellis and partially rolled-up bamboo screens.
The reverse of the rim is decorated with iron-red and underglaze-blue twigs.
